Ralph Downs Elementary

School Year for Students Shortened by Two Days

Friday May, 20th is the last day of school.

We are the Ralph Downs Roadrunners.

We will accept all people as special and unique, and honor each individual.

Our strengths and weaknesses create a common bond.

We accept the responsibility for our behavior.

We will respect the learning and well being of others.

In all that we do, we will make positive choices.

We believe we have the power to be active learners.

What we learn today will help make us leaders in the future.

We accept the challenge to be the best we can be.

We are Ralph Downs Roadrunners.

We make a difference, one day at a time.

    Important Cold Weather Information

Parents, as the temperatures drop this winter, it is important that your children are dressed accordingly.

Our students go outside every day, as long as temperatures are 32 degrees or above.  They are outside in the mornings before school and again at lunch time recess. On many days, not only will they need a heavy coat, but hats, gloves and scarves may be necessary to keep them warm while outside. Please keep yourselves apprised of the weather before you send your children off to school each morning. We want everyone to be safe, warm and happy!
